The season of love is right around the corner. Love is already in the air. Generally, we consider Valentine’s Day as lover’s day, or as most of us hope, a day only meant for those who are in love. I personally don’t agree. I mean anyone can celebrate this beautiful day in their own way, regardless of it being a global day for love. Valentine`s Day, honestly speaking, is just a normal ordinary day like every other day, to share love with each other and it can be everybody around you, or just maybe anybody.
If you believe its Valentine`s day and there is nobody out there to love you or to share love with, then you’re totally wrong because there is a certain special human who loves you the way you are. You have to start embracing and cherishing your life ……… God loves us. We know that in our minds, but often we don’t live that way.
I keep on telling people how important it is to love yourself but almost every one of them all always misunderstand me. So yes, I am married and live together with my family, but if I had not loved myself as much as i do today, my husband, children, family and friends wouldn’t have loved me for who I am.
You and your beautiful self are enough.
You are who you perfectly are.
You are perfectly imperfect.
You know who you are and your standards.
You know what you need to change or areas you need to sharpen.
You no longer fear arguments, confrontations or any kind of problem
with yourself or those around you.
RESOLUTIONS (for almost every year): I only do what brings me joy and happiness. Things I love to do and that make my heart cheer. These things I pursue whole heartedly with a rhythm only I have.
As I began to love myself I understood that in the face of any situation,
I am in the right place at the right time, and everything happens
at the exact right moment. So I can always remain calm, go on vacay with my glass of sparkling and enjoy the season.
Loving me to the point of waking up every morning with a heart overflowing with gratitude for all I was blessed with in life is the best choice I made for myself.
Here’s to loving myself unconditionally.
Here’s to loving myself the way I hoped for someone else to, one day love me.
I freed myself of anything that is no good for my health – food, people, things, situations, and everything that drew
me down and away from myself. At first I called this SELFISH but now I call it SELF LOVE.
